πŸ“Ά Slippage & Speed

What is slippage?

A token’s price can change between the time Panda prepares a trade and the time it executes. Slippage sets how much movement your trade is willing to tolerate according to the route’s quote.

A lower setting may cause a trade to fail if the price moves. A higher setting can make execution more likely, but may allow a worse price and can increase exposure to MEV or other adverse trading conditions. Slippage does not protect you against every risk or guarantee a result.

Change slippage

  1. On a token’s trading screen, open BUY or SELL and tap πŸ“Ά SLIPPAGE.
  2. Select a preset or choose CUSTOM and enter your percentage.
  3. Confirm or return to the trading screen.

Auto Trade and channel settings also have their own slippage controls. Check the value in the place relevant to the trade you are configuring.

Transaction speed

  1. From the main menu, tap πŸš€ TX SPEED.
  2. Choose AUTO or CUSTOM.
  3. In CUSTOM, choose or enter the priority fee if prompted.

A higher priority fee can improve inclusion during congestion, but it does not guarantee a faster confirmation, successful trade or better price. AUTO adapts the fee within the bot’s safety limits. Check the current limits displayed in Panda.
